We're a family-owned company working with homeowners across the Houston area. Our focus is solar attic fan installation, roof repair, and gutter repair. Everything we do comes out of more than 10 years of hands-on roofing experience.
Started at the Bottom of the Ladder
Our owner didn't come into this business through an office.
He started as a roofer helper. That's the job where you're hauling material, cleaning up, and doing whatever the crew needs while you learn by watching. It's hot work in a hot climate, and it's the position where most people either quit or fall in love with the trade.
He stayed.
Over more than 10 years he worked his way up through the roofing industry. Different roofs, different problems, different crews. Leaks that were easy to find and leaks that took hours to trace. Storm season after storm season in a part of Texas that gets plenty of weather.
That's not a fast path. But it's the one that teaches you what a roof actually does, and what happens when somebody cuts a corner on it.
CKConstruction and More LLC came out of that experience.

We look before we quote.
You can't diagnose a roof from the driveway. We inspect first, every time, and inspections are free.
We find the real problem.
Water travels before it shows up. Somebody who's only ever patched the spot under the stain hasn't learned that yet. We look for where it's getting in.
We think about water on every job.
Attic fans, roof repairs, gutters. It's all the same question underneath. Where does the water go, and is it going somewhere it shouldn't?
We tell you when you don't need us.
If something can wait, we'll say so. That costs us a job today. It's the reason people call back.
No Pressure, No Runaround
Most people calling a contractor are a little on guard. That's fair. Nobody wants to be talked into work they don't need or handed a bill that doesn't match the conversation.
So we keep it simple.
We show up when we say we will. We explain what we found in plain language, not jargon. We give you a clear estimate before any work starts. And we answer your questions in English or Spanish, whichever is easier for you.
Being family-owned means our name is on it. There's no crew we've never met showing up at your house and no manager three states away deciding how your job gets handled.
Three Services, Done Properly
Solar attic fan installation.
This is our specialty. We install 25W, 30W, 40W, and 70W solar attic fans and seal them the way a roofer should.
Roof repair.
Leaks, missing shingles, storm damage, flashing, and roof penetrations.
Gutter repair.
Leaking, sagging, and loose gutters, damaged downspouts, and drainage problems.
We're not trying to be everything to everybody. We do these three things and we do them well.
